Please note: Birds have become one year older!

Identifying the age of a bird is done according to the so-called calendar-years. With the turn of the year, birds hatched in 2023 no longer belong to the first calendar-year and are therefore no longer stated as this year's birds. They are now referred to as second calendar-year birds or as birds of the previous year. Birds hatched in 2022 are now in their 3rd calendar-year and so forth. We ask you to please bear that in mind when aging birds.

Many thanks

the team of ornitho.de and ornitho.lu
